Hi! I’m Rachel, toddler mama on my own wellness journey to keep my family healthy, reduce inflammation, and avoid disease. I opened the Saint Pete Salt Room to bring some of those wellness treatment options to our local community. If you are interested in wellness and optimizing the way you feel each day, I hope you will stop by and say hey, get some more information on the treatments, and browse our selection of beautiful Himalayan salt lamps and other wellness offerings!
We know the fast pace and constant obligations of everyday life can pull you away from tuning into the needs of your body and mind. The salt room is an oasis that will give you the peaceful reset you need to ground back into your body, clear your mind, and breathe well, so that you can go back into your life as the best version of yourself!
Please arrive 15 minutes before your treatment start time. This will allow us time to discuss your needs, fill out the intake form, and get situated for your treatment.
Please refrain from wearing scents of any kind. Many people suffer from severe respiratory reactions to fragrances, smoke odor, and other scents. This includes scented laundry detergent, essential oils, and perfumes.
There are no special clothing requirements for your treatment. Dress comfortably so you are able to relax and focus on your breath! The salt room is typically 70 degrees and we have plenty of blankets for your comfort.
Before you begin your treatment, you will fill out the intake form and we will also discuss any conditions, changes in health, and goals for the session.
If you are entering the halotherapy room, we will provide shoe covers, or you are welcome to wear your own clean socks. If you are coming for a foot detox, you will remove your shoes and socks for the treatment.
We have a safe place to store items that are not going into the halotherapy room with you. We recommend leaving phones and electronic devices outside, but if you would like to keep them with you, please make sure they are silenced to optimize peaceful relaxation for all guests. If you would like to listen to your own music or mediation, you should bring headphones. Food and drinks may be enjoyed in the reception area, but are not to be brought into the halotherapy room.
Don’t worry, we will be there to guide you through the process, especially if it is your first visit! Feel free to call in advance for more details or visit our FAQ page
