Halotherapy

Our salt room is a specially designed, clinical-level halotherapy facility, which is set up to optimize breathing, skin appearance, and mood. The treatment room is an active halo-chamber with steady air temperature between 65 and 73 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity levels between 40 and 60% at all times. This ensures you will always be situated in ideal conditions when receiving halotherapy.

The treatment room is equipped with a medical Halogenerator, which is responsible for establishing the pure salt environment. This specialized nebulizer grinds pharmaceutical grade, dry sodium chloride (USP salt) into aerosol particles ranging from 1-5 microns in size, with 80% of the particles being 2 micron.

The halogenerator has its own microprocessor, which senses the conditions of the room and maintains temperature, humidity, and mass concentration of aerosol in the room. The salt concentration can be adjusted to maximize the benefits for a variety of conditions, which we can discuss before you enter the room.

During treatment at the Saint Pete Salt Room, you will recline in comfortable seating, surrounded by soft lighting and soothing sounds. Our peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to relax, inhale, and let your stress melt away while gently detoxifying your respiratory system, improving skin quality, and elevating your mood. The typical amount of treatments to naturally alleviate symptoms will depend on the condition!

Most conditions are naturally controlled with 5-25 treatments. However, this depends on each individual's biochemistry and lifestyle. Many people experience widespread benefits of routine visits to the salt room for a variety of conditions.
